Phoenix return to league action and travel to Corinthian on Saturday

Phoenix Sports travel to Gay Dawn Farm on Saturday afternoon to face Corinthian, hoping to make it seven wins in a row and continue their excellent run of recent form.
Jake Goodman’s side head into the game following a convincing 5–1 victory at Rusthall last Saturday, securing a place in the second round of the Kent Senior Trophy.
That result followed victories over Rusthall, Erith & Belvedere, Larkfield & New Hythe, Tunbridge Wells and Penn & Tylers Green. Phoenix have scored 22 goals across their six successive wins and climbed to sixth in the league table.
Attention now returns to the SCEFL Premier Division, where Phoenix have collected 13 points from their last five matches. Saturday offers the opportunity to extend their winning run and add another three points away from home.
Corinthian will be no pushovers. They have shown their ability to trouble opponents this season, beating Rusthall 2-0 and drawing 2-2 with league leaders Fisher. They also fought back from three goals down to earn a 3-3 draw at Tunbridge Wells, underlining the challenge Phoenix can expect at Gay Dawn Farm.
For Phoenix, the focus will be on maintaining the standards that have helped them climb the table and deliver another strong performance to keep their winning run going.
Saturday’s match kicks off at 3pm at Gay Dawn Farm.

Supporters travelling by car should head to Corinthian Sports Club, Gay Dawn Farm, Valley Road, Fawkham, Longfield, Kent, DA3 8LY.
