Phoenix face AFC Greenwich Borough in Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals

Phoenix travel to the RTL Stadium on Tuesday night for a 7.45pm kick-off as they face AFC Greenwich Borough in the SCEFL Challenge Cup quarter-final, with a place in the last four at stake.
Phoenix booked their spot in the last eight back in November when they eased past Stansfeld having earlier progressed on penalties against Lewisham Borough after a tightly fought contest and they will be hoping to take another step towards silverware on Tuesday night.
Their scheduled league trip to Tunbridge Wells at the weekend was postponed, meaning focus now turns to cup action and the opportunity to reach the semi-finals.
Greenwich Borough, meanwhile, come into the tie on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Rochester United in a top-of-the-table clash. Despite that setback, they remain second in SCEFL Division One and have been among the division’s strongest performers this season.
There is added incentive for both sides, with the winners set to host Bearsted in the semi-final.
With home advantage awaiting in the next round, Tuesday’s encounter promises to be an exciting evening with both teams looking to keep their cup ambitions alive.

The match will be played at the RTL Group Stadium, located at 68 Oakley Road, Bromley, Kent, BR2 8HQ.
Oakley Road sits between the A21 Hastings Road and the A232 Croydon Road, making the ground easily accessible by car from the surrounding areas.
The nearest railway stations are Hayes and Bromley South.
From Bromley South, the following bus routes serve the area:
320 towards Biggin Hill (best option)
61 towards Chislehurst
358 towards Orpington
402 towards the Three Horseshoes
From Hayes, take:
353 towards Ramsden Estate from Stop C
Supporters are advised to check local travel updates before setting off and allow plenty of time to arrive ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.
