Phoenix Sports turn their attention back to league action this weekend as they welcome Hythe Town to the Christopher Russell Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

It will be the third game in temporary charge for Jake Goodman, who will look to build on the FA Vase victory over Sporting Bengal and a draw again Punjab United. Goodman will be joined in the dugout by U18s coaches and former Phoenix player Paul Williams and U18s coach Dave Hunt.

Visitors Hythe Town arrive on a tricky run having lost six of their last seven league games but were unlucky to finish on the wrong side of a 3-2 scoreline at home to table-topping Bearsted on Tuesday.

Phoenix are hoping Harry Barnes will pass a late fitness test and have Kristian Campbell available for the last time before he faces a suspension.

With Phoenix keen to continue their recent improvement and Hythe looking to kickstart their season, Saturday’s clash promises to be an interesting contest. Kick-off is at 3pm at the Christopher Russell Stadium.
