Phoenix back in action with Whitstable Town the visitors on Saturday (3pm)

Phoenix return to DA7 on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Whitstable Town to the Christopher Russell Stadium, aiming to build on their home draw against Faversham Strikeforce last time out.
Although not in competitive action last weekend, Phoenix did earn a 3-1 friendly victory over neighbours VCD on Tuesday night with Will Efambe on target for Jake Goodman’s side.
There’s a boost for Phoenix with the return of captain Ahkeem Belford, who is available again after serving a one-match suspension.
Saturday’s visitors Whitstable Town come into the game in good form and full of confidence following four wins and a draw from their last five games including a 4-2 win over Bearsted earlier this month. Phoenix will need to be at their best to earn the points against the title-favourites on Sunday.
The club will be remembering former vice chairman Steve House at Saturday’s game almost a year on from his passing, with a minute’s applause prior to kick-off planned. There will also be post-match entertainment with West End singer Lorren Santo-Quinn singing in the Club House.

The Christopher Russell Stadium is easily accessible on public transport:
By train: Barnehurst Station is just a 10-minute walk from the ground—this line runs regularly through Travelcard Zone 5
By bus: The 492 stops directly outside the ground
From central London: A direct Southeastern train from Charing Cross to Barnehurst takes around 40 minutes
There is parking in the school opposite the ground parking in the side streets that surround the ground. With a larger than usual attendance expected we're expecting it to be busier than usual.

Tickets for the match are available online here via the Fanbase app or by cash and card on the gate.
