Phoenix back in league action on Tuesday night

Phoenix are back on the road this Tuesday night as they travel to the Jockey Farm Stadium to take on Rusthall FC in another important SCEFL Premier Division fixture.
Jake Goodman’s side will be eager to bounce back from consecutive cup defeats, having exited both the FA Vase and the Kent Senior Trophy in recent weeks.
Despite those setbacks, Phoenix have shown plenty of promise in league action and will be determined to get back to winning ways under the lights in Rusthall.
Their recent form in the SCEFL has been encouraging, highlighted by a superb 3–1 away victory at Fisher, widely regarded as their best performance of the season so far.
Hosts Rusthall remain unbeaten in the league so far this season and the Tunbridge Wells based side boast one of the division’s most potent forward pairings in Louie Clarke and Charlie Clover, who have struck 19 goals between them so far this season. Keeping that duo quiet will be key to Phoenix’s hopes of returning home with a positive result.
Rusthall will also be looking to respond after their FA Vase defeat to local rivals Tunbridge Wells at the weekend - their first loss in any competition this season and will be keen to maintain their impressive league form on home soil.
Phoenix winger Tyler Anderson has left the club this week. The winger made a strong contribution during his time at the Christopher Russell, and everyone at Phoenix wishes him well for the future.
With both sides aiming to respond to cup disappointment and maintain their strong league form, Tuesday’s clash under the lights at Jockey Farm promises to be a lively and competitive encounter.

The closest public transport to the Jockey Farm Stadium is Tunbridge Wells which is about a 25 minute walk.
The address is Rusthall FC, The Jockey Farm Stadium, Nellington Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8SH
