Phoenix Sports return to action on Wednesday night as they host Stansfeld in the SCEFL Challenge Cup, buoyed by a superb 4–0 victory away at Hythe Town on Saturday.

Jake Goodman’s side were outstanding on the Kent coast, producing one of their most complete performances of the season an emphatic response after the frustration of the late defeat to Whitstable the previous weekend.

Goodman has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the cup tie. Midfielder Harry Smart remains a long-term absentee as he continues his recovery from the knee dislocation suffered against Fisher in October while Tyller Whitlock Davis is cup-tied having played in the competition for Erith & Belvedere earlier in the season.

Stansfeld’s form has improved of late having picked up an excellent 3-3 draw with Whitstable and beating Halls 2-0 in this competition earlier this month. They will likely approach the tie with nothing to lose.

Phoenix will be hoping for another strong display to build momentum with great run of form required for a play-off push, but they will also be wary of a Stansfeld side that have nothing to lose.

By Car: The stadium sits just off the A20 and is easily reached from the South Circular (A205).There is limited parking at the ground, with additional free parking available on surrounding residential roads. Please park respectfully.

By Train: The nearest station is Mottingham, roughly a 10–15 minute walk.

• Exit the station and head north along West Park.

• Continue straight onto Middle Park Avenue until you reach the ground on your left.

By Bus: The ground is well served by local buses:

• Routes 124, 126, 160 and 660 all stop close to Middle Park Avenue.

• The 124 stops almost directly outside the ground.

By Foot: From Mottingham or Eltham, follow Middle Park Avenue—signs for Cray Valley PM / Artic Stadium appear as you near the complex.
