Anslow to remain at the phoenix helm

Phoenix manager commits to 2025/26 season

Phoenix Sports Club is delighted to confirm that Darren Anslow will remain at the helm as First Team Manager for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Anslow took charge of the club with the club bottom of the table after 12 games. He oversaw a major squad overhaul and kept the club in with a fighting chance of Step Foursurvival until the penultimate game of the season.

Since taking charge, the team has shown notable progress and the club is excited to continue building on that foundation ahead of what we hope is a push for promotion next season.

Club Chairman Tony Crowder said:

“We’re very pleased that Darren has committed to another season with us. After a difficult 2024/25, that saw changes on and off the pitch, we’re keen for there to be more stability in 2025/26 and we’re delighted that Darren has agreed to build on the foundations he’s laid.”

Anslow added:

“I’m proud to be continuing with Phoenix for the 2025/26 season . We’ve made good strides as a team, but there’s more to come. I want to thank the Chairman and the club’s board for their support and I’m looking forward to getting back to work and preparing for what is a really important season for Phoenix”

Preparations for pre-season are already well underway, with announcements on fixtures and new signings to follow in the coming weeks.
