Phoenix turn their attention to the Isuzu FA Vase on Saturday afternoon (3pm) when Billingshurst visit the Christopher Russell Stadium for a Second Round Qualifying tie.
Jake Goodman’s side will be determined to produce a response following last weekend’s disappointing 1-0 defeat away to Hollands & Blair. Phoenix created several opportunities during the opening half at Star Meadow but were unable to make their pressure count before a second-half goal condemned them to defeat.
Saturday’s fixture offers Phoenix an opportunity to put their recent league form behind them and begin what they hope will be a memorable run in one of non-league football’s most prestigious cup competitions.
Billingshurst will provide determined opposition when they make the journey from West Sussex. The visitors compete in the Southern Combination Football League and will be equally eager to secure their place in the next stage of the competition.
With a place in the First Round Proper at stake, the tie must be decided on the day, with penalties following if the scores remain level after 90 minutes. Phoenix will be hoping that a return to the Christopher Russell Stadium can provide the platform for a much-improved performance as they look to return to winning ways and continue their FA Vase journey.

By bus: The 492 stops directly outside the ground
From central London: A direct Southeastern train from Charing Cross to Barnehurst takes around 40 minutes
There is parking in the school opposite the ground parking in the side streets that surround the ground. With a larger than usual attendance expected we're expecting it to be busier than usual.
Season tickets are not valid for the FA Vase so season-ticket holders will have to purchase tickets for this match.
