Phoenix will hope to continue their impressive recent run of form as they welcome Sutton Athletic on Saturday (3pm).

Jake Goodman’s side are unbeaten in seven matches, a sequence that includes emphatic 4–0 league victories over Hythe Town and Larkfield, followed most recently by a 1–1 draw with league leaders Whitstable Town.

Phoenix are already well acquainted with Sutton this season, having fallen to a 3–2 defeat when the two sides met back in August. Goals from Ahkeem Belford and Lyle Della Verde were not enough for Phoenix, as a late winner from Taylor Fisher earned Sutton all three points.

Phoenix have added three players to their squad since their last home match with attacking players Khayrie Harris, Kieron McCann and former Sutton man Fisher joining the ranks. Fisher could make his Phoenix debut against his old club on Saturday.

Sutton have lost just one of their last six league matches - a 4–0 defeat away at Whitstable - and have drawn three of the remaining five.

They exited the Kent Senior Trophy on Saturday following a 2–0 home defeat to Rusthall, with both goals coming in added time at the end of each half.

With Phoenix back in the play-off conversation, a win would see Jake Goodman’s side leapfrog Sutton and potentially finish the day in sixth place.

The Christopher Russell Stadium is easily accessible on public transport:

  • By train: Barnehurst Station is just a 10-minute walk from the ground—this line runs regularly through Travelcard Zone 5

  • By bus: The 492 stops directly outside the ground

  • From central London: A direct Southeastern train from Charing Cross to Barnehurst takes around 40 minutes

There is parking in the school opposite the ground parking in the side streets that surround the ground. With a larger than usual attendance expected we're expecting it to be busier than usual.
