Phoenix learn FA Cup and FA Vase opponents

Step five opposition for Pheonix in the cup competitions.

The draws for the opening rounds of the Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Vase have been made, with Phoenix set to face one recently relegated and one recently promoted side in their opening rounds of the competitions.

In the Emirates FA Cup, Phoenix will travel to Sutton Common Rovers on Saturday 8 August who play their home matches at Carshalton Athletic.

Rovers endured a difficult 2025/26 campaign as they battled at the wrong end of the Isthmian League South Central Division and were relegated  The club will compete in the Combined Counties Premier Division South in 2026/27.

The winners of the fixture will play host to the winners of Little Common or Haywards Heath Town.

In the Isuzu FA Vase, Phoenix have been given a bye through the first qualifying round and handed home advantage against Billingshurst FC at the Christopher Russell Stadium.

The 2025/26 season proved to be a memorable one for Billingshurst as they secured promotion to the Southern Combination Premier Division through the Division One play-offs. The West Sussex side enjoyed an impressive campaign, overcoming Worthing United and Infinity to clinch promotion.
