Phoenix make the trip to Kennington on Saturday (3pm)

Phoenix return to SCEFL action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to the Green Box Stadium to take on Kennington United, aiming to secure a fourth consecutive victory.
It has been a superb festive period for Jake Goodman, James Marrs and their Phoenix side. Convincing 4-0 league wins over Hythe Town and Larkfield have come either side of a 3-2 success against Stansfeld in December.
Jamarie Brissett has been a standout performer, netting four goals during December, while Lyle Della Verde has also caught the eye with four goal involvements over the same period.
Tyller Whitlock-Davis returns to contention after serving a one-match suspension against Larkfield, while Antuel Shquti will face a late fitness test ahead of Saturday’s clash.
Kennington, meanwhile, have endured a difficult run of results. They have now conceded four or more goals in a league fixture on three occasions this season, following heavy defeats to Chislehurst Glebe (5–1) and Sutton Athletic (4–0).
The hosts come into the game on the back of five straight defeats in all competitions, including three in the league, a run that has seen them slip to 14th in the table.
Their recent struggles have coincided with a goal drought for leading scorer Ryan Philpott, who last found the net in October after a prolific start to the campaign that yielded 11 goals.

The ground is located on Ashford Road, Kingsnorth, TN26 1NJ, and ample free parking is available on site on matchdays. If you’re coming by train, the nearest station is Ashford International - about 3.1 miles from the stadium - where you can catch a taxi or rideshare to the ground (the taxi rank is directly outside the station). There isn’t a bus stop immediately beside the stadium, so for most supporters the quickest route from public transport is a short taxi journey from Ashford International or driving directly to the venue.
